This jerky is not 100% meat, it contains pea protein a controversial ingredient known to cause heart disease in dogs (as found and reported by the FDA). I'm also incredibly disappointed to learn the meat is not sourced from the United States, but rather, from China -- a country that holds the Yulin Dog Meat Festival every year. I am, of course, not saying this product contains dog meat, but rather, I do find it deeply troubling to know Amazon sources meat from a country that violently slaughters dogs for human consumption each year.
