Posting this review as a warning to others. The wall control was great through most of its life but it has a critical flaw -- when it fails, it will randomly open the garage door. This happened to us while we were away for weeks -- thankfully we had someone checking the house daily and they found the door open and manually closed it. Upon returning, I noticed there was a little buzz or zapping type sound periodically coming from the device and while I was listening to it make the buzz, the door went up on its own without my touching anything. This is the opposite behavior that it should have -- if something goes wrong with the wall control, it should fail so that the door won't open/operate! Apparently I'm not the only one -- another reviewer in Phoenix who posted circuit-board pics in the reviews mentioned the same problem. While it was working normally, it was a nice device. The motion sensor to turn on the garage door opener lights was nice, and so was the internet connectivity with the MyQ gateway.
