This thermometer is absolute garbage. I am an avid BBQ'er so I use my thermometer regularly. With that being said, it is imperative that my probes work accurately. I have had to contact customer service on several occasions due to a faulty probe. The first time it would not read and the second time it would have instant temperature variations of +-50 degrees (I cook on a Kamado grill which has a dome thermometer as well and I'm usually hovering around 225-275 depending what I'm cooking). These issues basically make this product unusable to say the least! I will say this! Their customer service is fine! I reached out to them and they sent me a new probe which lasted 2 weeks haha. SO if you like dealing with customer service and if you are in the market for an inexpensive thermometer and do not cook things like brisket, boston butt etc... (the good stuff) then this is fine. If you are, I strongly suggest spending a little extra money and going with Thermoworks! They are proven to work and last! How this thermometer is ranked #1 on Amazon is mind boggling.
