Despite negative reviews, I really wanted to give this scale a chance. Unfortunately, I can't use it. The design is great and the screen has a clean and bright two-color readout. At this price, this could have easily been the best scale on Amazon, but there's a problem. The loadcell has a critical flaw. It seems to react to static or any tiny magnetic field, even from your hand (see video). Getting your hand very close to the surface will push the loadcell to - 8.0g and sometimes more. That's a really big deal. I compared it to other scales I have and they work without any problem. As others mentioned, the scale tends to fluctuate and have a hard time deciding on the weight. I don't think this is an isolated issue but likely due to a cheap loadcell used. The seller should invest in having this product updated with better components and then I would love to buy it again and give 5 stars. Just be aware that a lot of people will return this scale unused and packed well. The scale has a 100% Money back guarantee, which is great and I would easily take it and skip this review. But that doesn't solve the problem.
