Fatal flaw
Actually I love this toilet seat, but it broke after 10 months of use. See the cracks in the plastic hinge plate where the force of raising the seat too rapidly overcomes the molded plastic, even though it has reinforcing ribs in the design. Seems like some beefing up is in order.
