I bought this umbrella because of its claims to withstand crazy wind. The first night out with it, it turned inside out not once but twice! And the wind wasn't even that fierce for Atlanta in December. If I were using this in Chicago or New York, I suspect I would have become Mary Poppins. Beyond its claims, the stupid thing has a button on the handle that has arrows pointing upwards and downwards. That suggests that you can press that button and open the umbrella. That works OK. But it also suggests that you can press that same stupid button to close the umbrella. That is a lie. If you press that button while the umbrella is open, absolutely nothing happens and you will be sad. Do not buy this umbrella. It is stupid.
