For those of you looking for a high-sided litter box for your cat that tends to miss the box, this is not for you. I love how large the pan is, width and length wise, but height-wise, the shorter end is not much taller than a standard litter box. My cat still missed and peed over the edge. I ended up propping the lower end up with some towels underneath, hoping it would make my cat feel like she was on an incline and go to the other end of the pan. That has seemed to work, as she hasn't peed over the edge since. I just don't understand why manufacturers can't make a high-sided, smooth-surfaced litter pan that is the same tall height all the way around?? I guess I'm going to go back to using Rubbermaid storage containers as litter boxes, even thought the little nooks and crevices are hard to keep clean. Sigh.
