Tonight we noticed my child's Contigo cups appeared to have mold in the spout, we tried to take them apart to clean them and to our surprise they do not come apart to be cleaned. After several failed attempts we got out pliers and a butter knife and broke the spouts apart. I am beyond disgusted at the amount of mold that were in these. Before anyone begins to think we weren't cleaning them right please know that all parts you could actually clean on these cups were cleaned each time they were used, We actually had to break the spouts to get to this part of the cup, there is no way this could have properly been cleaned. The fact that my 2 year old was drinking out of these infuriates me! We will never purchase Contigo products again and I will be telling everyone I know that has kids to never buy these and I hope that word spreads. This is not healthy for a child or anyone else.
