This is the 2nd one we have bought. The first one has been used in our travel trailer for the last 2 years. We love it and it works great so we figured we should get one for the house so the kids will stop pulling out the roll and using too much paper towels just bc it unraveled. The new one is SO loud. Im not sure what has changed in the last 2 years but our old one never made this obnoxiously clicking sound. It's very solid and doesn't seem to be broken or have a loose part that it making this noise. Im going to give it some time and see if we can learn to ignore it or start looking for a new one. It's a shame since it works so well. ETA- Tried MANY times to upload video of both holders but it seems Amazon will not post it.
