With such great reviews, I was really excited to get this elliptical trainer. I already workout and do cardio about 20 - 75 minutes of tempo pace cardio a day but for the rest of the day I am at seated at a desk. I figured if I could do really low-intensity exercise while sitting I would be better off since I am trying to lose weight with an underperforming metabolism However, it's this machine barely lasted 10 minutes and is already packed up and getting sent back. The first minute seemed great. I felt like I was getting a decent workout for being seated and it was super quiet. But within minutes I noticed that the left foam strip started to wear out - I didn't even make it 2 miles. Since I had just received it, I took pics. I figured it might still be ok and continued to pedal. Within 10 minutes of using though - it started making a clicking noise. This was somewhere around 6-7 miles. For me, that is unacceptable, especially since it is brand new. I'm giving this 3 stars because I felt like overall it could have been useful and served its purpose, aside from the defects.
