This magnesium is now 100% Magnesium Carbonate. This is in contrast to the formula previously being a mix of Magnesium Citrate and Magnesium Carbonate. Why does this matter? Studies consistently show Magnesium Carbonate as being the worst assimilated form of Magnesium that there is (less bioavailability to the human body). It is also the cheapest form of magnesium (which is likely why the company switched to make more money). I have been consuming this magnesium for years, but it is no longer the product you should buy. This formula change is VERY recent. DO NOT BUY. This product will no longer provide the results it previously did.
