dont bother getting this if youre more than a beginner
Let me start out by saying that I have returned these Dvds. Why? Let me count the ways....
Production values - production values? What production values? Ive seen better productions in amateur porn. The music is pretty awful, too.
Host - Stephanie Orem is more annoying than a miniature dachshund. She actually says "sarcasm is my second language". Uh, no, your second language filled with cliches and mean comments to the people in the video with you. I found her not to be motivating at all.
Workout - well, these workouts are definitely geared towards beginners. If you have been working out a long time, these Dvds will bore you to tears. The "hard core" Dvd was pretty easy but unbalanced. If you work hard on your abs you need to work hard on your lower back muscles, too. The other workouts are pretty similar. Boring and not challenging. Stephanie repeats the same exercises and overexplains every one of them. Also, after level 1, levels 2, 3, and 4 all seem to blend together.
Cost - this is probably the only good thing about this set. 8 Dvds for $30? Cant beat that with a dumbbell. Like I said, though, this set should only be sold to people totally new to exercising.
I originally bought this to supplement by workout based on the reviews. I should have thought about how one could sell 8 Dvds so cheaply and still be a good product.
