I really hope this review doesn't get buried by Amazon staff cause I don't want anyone to have to pay for this horrible product in the way I did. I own an iPhone 8, and this product is described by Amazon as compatible with an iPhone 8. Well after just 3 weeks of use, and yes it did charge my iPhone 8, it completely damaged the charge port inside the phone to the point I have to get a new iPhone. I went to the Genius Bar at Apple, with this Amazon charger, and they confirmed it was 100% this charger that damaged the phone. Because it is trying to be universal, it is not the ideal dimensions for an iPhone and over just 3 weeks, it destroyed the plugs in my phone's charge port. So buying this has cost me $400 of a new phone. An of course Amazon won't do anything about it or stand behind their products. There is no accountability. They should immediately take this product off the site but instead they will ignore me and bury this review.
