Cheap knock-off- No lumbar support!
UPDATE: They asked me to update the review to 3+ and promised to compensate me for my time. BEWARE!!! Got this chair because I have 3 herniated disks in my lower back and have been working from home for the last 7-8 months. Sick and tired of my 6 year old IKEA chair I decided to invest in a chair that will provide me all- day support. I work almost 10-12 hours everyday and have a desks that allows me to also stand and work. After a lot of research (and I’m a pretty impulse buyer) I decided to get this one. First off, this chair was not packaged properly and arrived in a damaged box. Fine. Contents were there and not damaged. Secondly, assembly was ok- took about 45 mins. Once assembled, when I sat on it, it didn’t put me in the 90 deg posture that I need to have to alleviate the pressure on my back. There is lumbar support but you cannot sit straight. You have to be in an awkward recline without actually reclining to get that support. I tried to get adjusted to it for around a month or so but never used the back support as in a default position it was too far away. Ended up with back pain and just plain discomfort. Then the chair started squeaking, more and more every day. At this point it was a no brainer to return this product. This is definitely not a $300 chair! Instead, I got one from staples “Hyken” chair which is amazing and is half the price! This is a cheap Chinese knockoff. If you want a chair and have money you don’t care about- buy it. But if you have back issues and/or looking for really good back support to help you sit up straight this is definitely the wrong chair for you. Don’t waste your time, money, and energy!
