Downgraded Flagship Phone??
First of all, I'm a big Samsung fan. I have owned 5 Samsung Galaxy phones since the beginning. However, this highly anticipated S22+ is a huge disappointment. If you look at the specification, you can see this phone is significantly inferior to the S20 series (the model that was released 2 years ago). Here are the spec downgrades I noticed (comparing S20+ to S22+): 1. Screen Resolution dropped from QHD (3200 x 1440) to FHD (2340 x 1080) 2. S22+ Ram dropped from 12GB to 8 GB 3. MicroSD slot is removed 4. Pressure testing shows that the new CPU Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's performance is worse than Apple's A13 Chip (The one that's in iPhone 11 - the 2019 model). What's worse, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's performance is also more unstable than last year's Snapdragon 888's performance. 5. The screen has downgraded from curved screen to flat screen 6. Screen size shrunk from S20+'s 6.7" display to S22+'s 6.6" display. 7. No charger included 8. No headset included I understand Samsung wants to make more money, and I am very disappointed that's what Samsung decided to do - significantly downgrading its flagship devices, while still selling at a premium price. No wonder the sales of the Samsung's S series have been down over the past two years. Hope they wake up soon.
