Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews for this book. I merely saw that it had nearly 5 stars and that it was for young readers. As other reviewers have said though the last chapter makes this book completely inappropriate for children. Two girls who had been friends throughout the book were finally understood to be lesbians by the main character of the book. It describes the girls snuggling and kissing. My daughter was quite upset and it ruined the whole book for her.
