I bought this phone and used it for 2 months. It was rarely used, less than 1 call a day on average, less than 10 minutes usage per day. Mainly used it for the speakerphone when talking to support helplines. No rough treatment, no children, no abuse. Now it's dead. All of a sudden. And no, it's not the batteries' fault or the line fault. There was no power surge in my house (it uses batteries anyway). Luckily I have a $8 made in China phone that I keep for backup. That made in China phone is ugly, it has yellowed, it is over 10 years old, it has poor build quality... and it always works. AT&T, your quality is terrible. This is the second AT&T phone that has died on me in 2 years. This is also the last AT&T phone I will ever buy. First time is bad luck, second time in two months is a pattern. You can't fool me for a third time.
