First of all, I would rate the customer service as excellent. I was having trouble setting this camera up and I emailed the company half-a-dozen times and received a response within 24 hours for each email, which I think is first class. The problems were with receiving alerts and also receiving alarms; it turned out that the latter was due to a hidden app in my phone which was filtering out what it regarded as unnecessary messages. After that issue was resolved I set about installing the camera outside, with the intent of filming my 50 plus foot driveway and also the approach to my front door. My house is some 70 feet long and I ended up putting the camera in 6 different locations, all with the same poor result. The problem was that it took over 10 seconds for the camera to register movement and another 5 seconds before a warning/notification was triggered. This meant that, if I walked down my driveway, I was in the house before a notification was sent; also, a car driven towards the house entered the garage without any detection at all. When I tested the camera indoors, it immediately registered movement (a hand swipe in front of the lens) and an alarm was triggered 4 seconds later but for some reason this did not happen outside when the movement was over 5 feet away. To me, this is completely unacceptable in a security camera so I reluctantly had to return it. Note, however, excellent customer service and very good picture quality day and night. UPDATE. Since writing the above I have received no fewer than 6 requests to increase my initial rating from 2 to 5 stars, emphasizing customer service. I received 2 offers in 2 days, offering me $20 to increase the rating to 5 stars and then, a day later and offer for me to be the first user of any of their new products to test and review. This all amounts to bribery for me to increase the rating, so I have now downgraded to 1 star as this is a definite turn-off.
