An honest review about an inferior quality mop
I own another spin mop brand for 3 years and it still works like day one. I decided to gift this Linkyo mop to my sister since it appeared to have stronger reviews. Unfortunately, it was a big mistake. First of all, the unit feels cheap overall. The bucket is so thin that it feels like it can break anytime. Also, the lock is awkwardly positioned low, which makes it inconvenient to reach to lock/unlock the handle.
The worst part is when the little plastic hinge inside the stainless steel spinner broke after only 5 uses. And this seems to be a common problem with other users too. This plastic hinge takes a lot of pressure while spinning and should be made of a stronger material. What’s the point of having a stainless steel basket if the hinge is plastic? After it broke, my sister could no longer use it. She ended up buying the same spin mop brand as mine.
After looking at the reviews more closely, I noticed they all look suspicious because many of them have a disclaimer at the bottom that says “I received this product at a discount in exchange for my review of the product.” That means this seller bought these reviews. My advice is don’t get fooled by the paid reviews. Please DO YOUR RESEARCH. This is an expensive mop that is of poor quality. BEWARE.
