I have a family of two and both of us eat not much, so this little rice cooker seems extremely perfect when I saw it the first time. But it did not work! It did not cook! It went on it’s cycle, ended up beeping, and showed us that it just got the water warmed.... Like it did in everyone else’s one star review. When it did cook, it cooked so nice that I could smell the fragrance of jasmine rice from my bedroom. When it did not cook, it was the saddest stuff in my whole day. You know what was more sad about it? It’s that I got 2 of this rice cooker and both of them, did, not, cook, after a few times. I purchased my first one at April 2017 and had a replacement at October. Both of these two products had the same problem like everybody else’s - they did not cook sometimes. And to me, after a few times that it did actually cook the rice, the frequency of not cook became more and more, and finally 9 out of 10 times it did not cook. It feels so disappointed to me when I had everything else well prepared, the meat, the veggies, and opened the rice cook but only found warm water and raw rice. It seemed that cooking rice for more cycles would help, but the result was that the rice would end up wet and like porridge, we could but even BITE any rice. At the first time, I thought well maybe it was a defective one, it could not detect when rice were cooked, so I contacted Amazon, and got a replacement. But the second one got this same problem even much earlier than the first one. OMG why I decided to have a replacement :( Maybe you would think that I do not know how to cook rice. But actually, as student from Asia and began eating rice before had had my first piece of memory, I believe it is this rice cooker that has problems. I just can’t recommend this to anybody. Do not buy this.
