I am not reviewing the effectiveness of the collar but, the actual collar itself as I have literally just unboxed this item. The description reads for dogs 8lbs or more.... my dog weighs 11lbs. There’s absolutely no way to adjust the collar to fit a dog that small. I am also looking at the very large receiver (for a smaller dog anyway), will work for a smaller animal. The instructions are very clear stating that the collar may cause skin irritation if too tight or too loose. There’s no way to make this large collar fit a small dog not to mention the receiver is huge. You can’t even use another collar because the receiver is so large. It would clearly give stim much differently for an 11lb dog. If you have a small dog, buy a product that is specifically for your dog. If I had a medium sized dog, 50-60lbs, I would be willing to try this but, absolutely will not for a small dog. My small dog wouldn’t even be able to walk around with that huge thing on his collar!
