I kept my keyboard and main monitor on the 25 pound middle section of this desk, and my second monitor, microphone, and left speaker on the left long side of the desk. My main monitor is at least twice the weight of my second monitor, and my microphone and speaker combined are about half as heavy as my monitor. This desk worked fine until after a couple of months (today) I am typing, looking at my main monitor then I hear a HUGE crash, my screen goes black, I look to my left, and my left side of my desk labeled to hold 50 lbs was shattered. My monitor fell through, smashing off of my desktop which was underneath. I now have to major scratches on my monitor. Glass got all through the inside of my $3,000 desktop (which was under the desk). I am cleaning up the mess now and hoping that my desktop still works. If you accidentally ordered it, and yes it would be an accident, then please do yourself a favor and return it or cancel the order as fast as possible. This item was labeled as Amazon's Choice when I purchased it, and after all it has done, I will have many doubts before trusting another one of Amazon's choices.
