This is really a attractive and well designed product. Originally it was a gift for my younger and very fussy brother. He said it wasn't quite the right size. To me it was the perfect size, non-stick and it came with a very nice glass lid. Instead of returning it I decided to keep it for myself figuring hey it was Calphalon. How could you go wrong? Well, you can. Now mind you, I have used other Calphalon non-stick products and still have a five year-old fry pan which I use all the time and is just fine to this day. This baby was a dud. The non-stick surface failed in a matter of months. And no this pot was not abused. I only used those plastic utensils and really didn't even use this pot all that much. The fact is the product just failed. I suppose I could have done the warranty thing and returned it, but then I reconsidered just how much time do I really want to invest in a defective pot. It's good enough to boil pasta. Like I said. As far as I'm concerned Calphalon usually makes really wonderful products. This could have been just a fluke.
