Machine ran beautifully for about 1 month, or more accurately, about 3 sessions. Then got the dreaded blinking red light, which indicates the battery has died. Registered online with address and serial number, but when I called support, they claimed they couldn't find the info. They nonetheless dispatched a new battery. A week later, the wrong battery arrived. Got online again to see if I can register my warranty, the website just takes my serial # and bounces me back to a screen with no information. Looks like another call to tech support will be necessary. But at this point, the experience is "done." This is supposedly a premium product at a premium price, but 1) the parts used are clearly not premium, as they wouldn't have died with such short use, and 2) the warranty experience is anything but premium. Nice looking website for sure, but not much beyond that. Even if I do get this machine running, I'm not likely to trust it. And the important part--the actual cleaning of rugs I was depending this for cannot be done. I now associate this machine with a dirty apartment, which I think is the opposite of what it's designers intended. I will likely be looking for a cheaper, more reliable vacuum and will craigslist this one assuming I ever get the right battery. Very, very disappointing experience.
