Though it's probably fine for music, I bought it specifically for TV use, counting on its being a Dolby Digital 3.1 device so I could turn up the center level and enhance the dialog. Various on-line reviews said it has center level adjustment BUT, though the manual that comes in the box shows "Sound Control button" on the remote to adjust Bass, Treble, Audio Sync, Center level, Top Level, and Virtual on/off, the last 3 have * by them and the * is explained below: "*" settings are available depending on series. 3½ HOURS of phone calls to Samsung finally revealed that actually those settings are NOT available on the HW-A650. They exist on some other more expensive models! They asked me how it works playing music, which I don't care about, but finally admitted that it's pretty useless for TV which all I wished to use it for, so I had to return it to Amazon. When I recover from the hassle, I'll buy a 3.1 soundbar that actually has center level control!
