Nowhere near as many servings as they claim
I have no problem with the quality of this product, although to be fair it's hard to go wrong with a liquid mg supplement. My real issue with this is that, like so many other supplement manufacturers, the number of servings listed on the bottle is wildly overblown.
It clearly states there are 178 servings, each of a quarter teaspoon. I take two quarter teaspoons a day, religiously - one in the morning and one in the evening. I use a proper 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon to measure the doses out accurately. My first bottle ran out much quicker than I expected, but I didn't bother to check dates and do the math. When the 2nd bottle seemed to deplete just as quickly, I checked my order and did an approximation. It's currently 38 days since I started this bottle. At my required daily dose, 178 servings should last me 89 days. Despite this, there is only about a quarter of the bottle left. By "quarter bottle," I'm assuming that it was only full to the line and not all the way up the neck. A rough calculation suggests that there is only around 50 days worth of my dose in a full bottle, which works out as 100 servings instead of the stated 178. That's roughly 56% of the claimed number of servings. Where's the other 46%?
I really find this inexcusable. People have budgets that they stick to, which they take into account when researching health supplements. They base their decisions on the number of stated doses and how long the supplement is going to last them. It's totally unfair to mislead people like this, and it especially stings during the pandemic lockdown when you're on a very limited income and you're trying to tighten your belt. I hope NOW responds to this, they're usually a reputable company.
