First machine we got was faulty. Baby brezza customer service was no help at all. Retuned the machine, it was indeed deemed faulty. This machine requires a lot of cleaning and matinance. There's a gross amount of scum that builds up around the opening where the formula is despensed. It's unsanitary and makes the machine malfunction. My husband and I both have carefully read over the instruction booklet and have followed every step. Some of the negative reviews could possibly be from user error, I suppose, but we did indeed get a faulty machine the first time. Our second one is still working fine but the scum of formula that builds up is what really worries me for numerous different reasons. Correct function of the machine dispensing formula, sanitary reasons, etc. I have included a picture of what the "build up" looks like just 8 hours after very throughly cleaning it. We use similac and I'm not sure if it's just similac that does this or all formulas. It's not easy to get off either. You cannot "wash" and get the machine wet. We use food grade wipes like recommended, but it's a pain to get it all off. Once formula gets wet it goes spoiled shortly after. I just don't see our current machine lasting very long after our experience with the last one. It is nice to use when you're not worring about cleaning the denpenser on the machine and clearing the removable spout every other time. It's just one more thing to clean added on to bottle washing. Maybe to some these things aren't a big deal but with a small baby screaming for her bottle, and then having flashing lights that you need to clean your machine 24/7 it gets old. If you get this machine make SURE you follow the instructions to EVERYTHING, one little mistake messes up the whole machine. You have to look up the formula number of baby brezza and make sure you set it to the correct setting, don't over or under fill the water and formula tank, clean both the machine despenser area and the removable spout all the time and make sure the tray attached doesn't have liquid in it, just to name a few things. You make one mistake and nothing works. Update: completely stopped using the machine. More of a hassle to clean and care for than pre-filling bottles with filtered water and putting in a bottle warmer!
