Just received an email from Synchrony Bank to tell me my payment is past due......it was apparently due July 1st. They offer the option of text or email alerts for things such as being notified when a certain amount is charged, when the due date is approaching, when the balance hits a certain limit, etc. I am set up for every alert known to man, however, they fail to send the alert. However, they can find my email to reach me once I miss the actual due date, and ding me with the late fee. Not to mention, whenever I log on to the site, I always have to enter my email address over and over as if they don't have it on file. To add insult to injury, I have a late fee plus a reduced credit limit for being a week late. I called to speak with a representative (no number to be found easily on the site, had to request via virtual chat) only to reach a recorded voice wanted to know "more" about what I needed before sending me to a representative who is out of the country and was of no service and couldn't answer my questions. Amazon is convenient for sure, but this card is a bust.
