I needed this for my shower after knee surgery coming up but needed it to fold when not in use since my shower stall is not large. Once assembled and I sat on it to test height it wouldn't fold back up. So useless to me. After much struggling my daughter and I managed to fold it so I could return as defective. Then I found out Drive Medical doesn't accept returns. That was not obvious on the Amazon website. I managed to find someone to purchase it from me who didn't need it to fold so I could order from a different company but am shocked that you cannot return a defective product.
