Excellent Capitalistic Marketing but Shameless
This is my first review of any literature but wanted to let everyone know that this "book" was worth the read. It was written in much better prose than most of the 5 other "prepper" novels I have already read. But as you could see, I titled my review "Excellent Capitalistic Marketing" because as you will find, it appears that the author had written an excellent full length novel only to have the publisher chop the novel into at least 10 mini unfinished "books" in order to sell them like a weekly tv series. I have paid for the first two "books" but now know that this was only the first portions of the original novel. The 2nd "book" shamelessly starts with the chapters numbered continuing from the first "book" which was an obvious clue of the chopping of the original novel. I have finished the first two "books" only to find that I am still in the middle of the novel the author wrote. I have put other novels down mid-stream and might do that with this novel because I don't want to pay for another "book" only to find out that it isn't the end. The other shameless tactic was that nearly all the chapters start on the right side of the book which calls for the left side to remain blank thereby making the "books" appear to be much longer than they really are. I like the "books" but am giving it a poor rating for feeling cheated and the deceit I feel the publisher exhibited. By the time you finish all the books you will have paid $140 for the original novel...you ask yourself when the last time was that you paid nearly $150 for single novel (in paperback).
