I purchased the 7.3 Litre version (the largest offered). Their description says: "Important letter size documents can lie flat". The term "letter size" is an ANSI standard, and that size is: 8.5 x 11 inches. Letter size documents can not lie flat in this fire safe. The interior dimension of the fire safe is not even 8 inches wide. Even if you give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they must have been talking about A4 sized paper (the European standard that is closest to "letter size") it still would not lie flat because A4 paper is 8.26 x 11.69 inches. Unfortunately, I didn't open the box immediately after receiving it and am now past the return window. I'm super unhappy because now I'm going to have to give this away and get a different box that fits letter sized paper.
