My partner has ulcerative colitis and has recently gone into a flare. Vsl#3 worked wonders and quieted any bloating and discomfort. However, after vsl was sued, we could not find them anywhere. Visbiome was supposed to be the alternative made by the inventor of vsl but when my partner switched to Visbiome, it didn't seem to help at all. It almost seemed to make it worse. Why do the effects differ so much when technically they should be the same product? Very disappointing we cannot buy vsl 3 anymore and Visbiome seems to be an inferior product. I will try floraster as that seems to be the only other good probiotic. Fingers crossed it works.
