What an embarrassment Amazon caused. I ordered this gift card and gave it as a gift and it did not work. I got a call from my friend saying “hey apparently there’s no money on this gift card.” When I called Visa they told me it had never been activated by the Amazon team so I called Amazon and was treated like I was trying to scam them out of something. I was left on hold for 10 minutes passed around from person to person; no one able to help me. Then I was told I had to call a different number where again I was on the phone for over 45 minutes. At the end of the day no one could help me and told me that someone would reach out to me within a few days. I ended up getting an email today saying they are going to send me a new gift card but it won’t get here for another week; past Christmas, past my friend’s birthday.
