There were some really sweet elements to this book, and I loved those! It does need some severe editing. Some sentences just weren't complete, and even though I read a lot, I did not know where the author was going with that particular sentence! In other instances, sometimes a word was exactly the opposite of what made sense, like "his" instead of "hers", and other minor stuff like that. Mostly I was not looking for a story with so much LUST! I just needed to skip parts of this book. I totally prefer CLEAN wholesome reading. I have a great imagination, and just a well written scene of a couple walking down a hallway, is enough to cover those parts of a plot line - I get it! The author is a good writer; I just didn't like the lusty scenes. And, they were abundant, needed to do a lot of skip-reading. Here are my reactions to this book: 1. leave out the lust 2. put more effort into dealing with the warm/heart-stirring parts of the story (this would've made this book wonderful for me) 3. editing - there's a lot of proofreading and correcting that needs to be done I doubt I will read other stuff by this author. because I am guessing that the items above will be part of other works.. I guess I really should know better than to judge a book by it's cover, I thought it looked like a clean, chick lit light reading kind of book...
