I so badly wanted to love this. It is soft, weighted, and the heat settings are perfect. Unfortunately, it stopped working the first time I used it, after just five minutes. The red High light started flashing and the entire unit became unresponsive and stopped heating. Sunbeam informed me that using this product with an extension cord caused a permanent fault. This product does not come equipped with a long cord. Not being able to use an extension cord is a deal-breaker for me. It needs to reach the couch, I'm not going to sit on the floor next to the outlet in order to use a new replacement unit. I am so disappointed.
