Stay away from this!
The only reason why D-Vi-Sol and Tri-Vi-Sol are still commercially successful is clearly due to the unholy alliance between big pharma and pediatricians. Our kids are breastfed, so they need Vitamin D. We tried Tri-Vi-Sol, then D-Vi-Sol -- in both cases, the babies got cranky, gassy and were constantly throwing up. I've heard the exact same complaint from five other parents. And that's not exactly surprising given all the unnecessary chemicals they mix into this -- artifical color??? Citric acid?? Artifical flavor??
The good thing is that there is an alternative that is not only all natural but also much cheaper on a daily basis: Carlson's Vitamin D drops for babies. Pure conentrated Vitamin D, one drop on a pacifier is enough -- the babies don't even notice it and we haven't had any complications with them ever since.
