This is TWD meets Star Trek. No, it’s not because “Sasha” from TWD is the lead, either. It’s 1 ongoing story / soap opera, which goes against everything every other Star Trek has ever been. Something new? Cool! I’m all for that. But the delivery left a lot to be desired. Hammy, always serious overacting. A universe that’s almost unrecognizable. Plot holes galore. Inconsistent character behavior or motivations. Yes, I watched the whole season hoping something would change. Hard pass. I never thought I’d say this, but if you want a truer Star Trek experience watch The Orville. Seriously.
