Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I tried this product for 9 weeks and my lashes did not grow much, if at all. However I did start to notice peach fuzz hair growing UNDER my eyes and lashes growing out of my tear ducts (try plucking those!). After reading about this side effect from serums online, I decided to stop using it on my lashes because I wasn't getting any benefit from it anyway. I had been using it at night and my guess is, I would occasionally yawn and my tears would carry the serum away from my lashes and onto my skin. It's not an attractive look. Another comment.... at about a month after using it, I wrote a review saying it's not working, but will keep trying, giving it 3 stars. I got an email from the company offering me a refund and gift card if I remove my negative review (it wasn't negative, just truthful) because they are a small business and didn't want my review to hurt them. So I reluctantly removed the review. I didn't take the refund or gift card, just more product to keep trying it, hoping my lashes would grow. Now after seeing the real effects of the product on me, I feel compelled to share my truthful experience with others and hope that people are not influenced by the drastic skew of the reviews. I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying the product - maybe it'll work great on you. I am just sharing my personal experience. Go try it, but know that it's not perfect for everyone. Hopefully your lashes will grow long and lush and you won't get hair growing under your eyes and in your tear ducts! And lastly, this whole experience taught me to rely a little less on Amazon reviews, because it's not always what it seems unfortunately.
