This product is not really protecting you from anything. First of all, only RFID cards can be scanned without contact, so unless you have a card like PayWave, ExpressPay, or PayPass you have nothing to be protected against. Don't confuse RFID with EMV, EMV cannot be scanned either. Basically unless you can pay by waving your over the terminal you have nothing to worry about. Secondly, most RFID cards use tokenization meaning a unique code is created with transaction. That means your card # and name do not get transmitted, only the unique code. This company and all of the other RFID wallets are trying to scare the consumer into thinking they are under siege by identity thieves walking around scanning your cards. This could not be further from the truth.
