This softwood crib came with dents and scratches. In two places, the wood was splintered. We contacted the manufacturer multiple times by email and phone, though we never got a reply. We wish we had bought our grandchild a different brand, and since Babtletto has never acknowledged any communications, we are simply walking away from this terrible purchase. Softwood makes shipping less expensive, sure, and it's a lousy choice for a crib.
