Purchased 5 of these printers for our office (2 From Amazon & 3 from Xerox Direct). On the face of it seemed really good value and the initial print quality for both black and white was excellent. Unfortunately 9 months in two of the printers stated printing light and gradually got worse, xerox replaced the imaging units on these two free of charge as they were within warranty. This fixed the problem but they failed again 6 months later. They had to go in the trash as they were now out of warranty and a new imaging unit was $280. No sooner had these two failed my remaining 3 printers started to fail for the same problem light printing black. There is some sort of imaging unit problem with this model, 5 printers, 5 failures. Extremely disappointed, spent hours and hours messing about trying to find a solution / switching printers and imaging units. Also have a cupboard full of expensive ink.
