False Advertising
I received my twin pack of tablets today and when I looked at the instructions I wash shocked to see that the instructions on the bottle contradict what the seller claims here. The bottle clearly states you should use 2 tablets per quart of water, but the sellers claimed 1 tablet per quart. So not only is this half the value advertised, but I also am now short on my supplies. I payed full price for half of what I was promised and do not have as much purifyer as I need. This is just unacceptable.
10/25/2020 EDIT: I submitted a false product information report a week or two ago and it has since been corrected. When I bought this product one of the images clearly stated that "1 tablet=1quart" but the instructions on the bottle state 2 tablets are needed. The offending image seems to have been removed.
I am also concerned about expiration dates. The bottles come loose in a brown packing bag, and the only identifying information on the bottles is the lot number. I am currently trying to contact the manufacturer to see if this number can be used to find the date of manufacture and therefor the expiration date. Portable Aqua's website states that, properly stored, the pills never expire. (they're good for ever and ever like magic! Amazing!) However, ever similar product, and every expert review, states that the tablets expire 4 years after the manufacture date. Given this, and the experience I've already had with false advertising, I find it hard to believe that these pills are somehow different. I will update here again if I have any success in contacting the company.
