I'm giving it a one star not because the product itself is bad, but because of how I received it. The package for the item was way too big and didn't have anything inside to protect the product from moving around. As a result, I received an item with the inside seal already torn and the lid half opened, resulting in the lye spilling in the package and, while opening the package, I must've gotten a little bit of it on my finger, which I touched the side of my lip with and immediately, got a blister. This is my first time ordering such a harsh chemical and I have learned my lesson to use gloves even when opening the package. This chemical is dangerous!!! I can't stress enough how important it is to handle it with utmost care. I already left a feedback for the packaging separately, but I needed to leave a review here as well to bring awareness to the matter. I have included a picture of the inside of the package to show how it has disintegrated the inside. Great product, terrible packaging.
