I am the lucky owner of two California Air Tools compressors rendered useless permanently with leaking tanks. First compressor is a 6310 purchased Sep 2015, it started leaking in Dec 2016. Second is the 10020C bought in Dec 2016 as a replacement, it started leaking June 2018. In both cases they rusted thru where parts were welded to the tank. Both units were on an auto drain valve, operated stationary indoors in a climate controlled environment and operational for less than 20 hrs a week to test medical rotary equipment. Poor welding and/or low quality components used by manufacturer are to blame in my opinion.
