When I was researching what TV to buy I was told by Sony (directly in a chat) that this TV would update immediately to Android Version 8.0 (Oreo) as soon I connected it to the network. It did not. I contacted Sony. They told me to allow 2 to 3 weeks for the update. It has been nearly 4 weeks. Still no update. The TV itself looks great and works great but I bought it based on the fact that it would be running the latest version of Android and Sony told me (before my purchase!) that it would be. It is NOT. It is running version 7.0. Sony completely misled me (FALSE information) and Sony did not resolve the problem.
