Sadly, I have to give this hair an extremely poor review. For over 15 years I have worn various protective styles using synthetic hair without issue. My scalp and skin are not sensitive and I have healthy long natural hair however this Toyotress hair (crochet butterfly locs) itched my scalp so bad that I had to cut it out 4 days after my stylist installed it. I did not pre wash the hair: there were no instructions in the package to do so. Plus, I NEVER pre-wash my synthetic hair. I’ve never had a need to or issue. I did try to wash my hair/scalp with ACV and warm water however that made my scalp worse. It seems the chemicals in this hair are really strong. I told my stylist it literally felt like needles sticking my scalp when I tried to calm the itching down because it was so irritated. My ear has also broken out in a rash. I’m requesting a full refund and praying there is no lingering damage to my natural hair. Lesson learned: I will either use natural hair or pre wash my synthetic hair. In the trash!
