worked fine when i used it the first couple times. tried to use it the next time, and although the unit turned on, it wasn't detecting a temperature from the probe. i emailed the company to ask for a replacement probe. they responding saying they'd look into it. that's a month ago. i've emailed them several times over the past month asking for a status update, but they haven't bothered responding any further. not exactly sure how they are calling this a "lifetime warranty"--maybe because you have to wait a lifetime for them to honor the warranty? in the meantime, i need a thermometer for the holidays, so i'll go buy one from another company.
