This sharpener worked great for about a year, then it just stopped working. There's no jam, it's not clogged, it was not dropped. I just plugged it in at the start of the new school year, and nothing. I reached out to the company via email and received no response. So much for a 10 year warranty. Buyer beware. If you're a teacher looking for a sharpener to hold up in a classroom longer thab one school year, definitely look elsewhere.
