I first tried the lights and found that the remote would stop working. Unplug the power and the remote would work for a while and then stop working. I checked the battery in the remote and it was good. I took apart the LED Controller driver and found very few parts. Seeing that the processor that controls the lights had only a 5v zener diode for power I knew that they left out the 25 cent capacitor. If you are running a large and clean enough power supply you shouldn't run into problems with the remote. I guessed and added a 33mfd capacitor to stabilize and clean up the power going to the processor. All of the remote problems went away and now the lights work as advertized. **Note to the manufacturer add the 25 cent capacitor and get five stars!
