For those of you comparing these clips to the ones sold by a curly-hair specialty company here are the differences between these clips and their expensive friends. If you aren't looking for the clips to help lift the roots of curly hair then this review may not interest you. 1. The width, length, and tension on the clip are NOT very similar. 2. They hold no more than half of the hair of the deva clips. My stylist only uses clips like these for very fine hair. (Think baby/child hair.) I do not think they are a good replacement for the deva clips. I tried them for a while with much frustration. These clips are tiny compared to the deva clips and so you have to use twice as many and try to fit them all around your scalp. Do yourself a favor and get the original clips.
